New School Security- Every classroom can now be locked from the inside (See the article page A6 of the July 30, 2007 Belleville News Democrat).
- All of the exterior doors to the school building will be locked during school with access only through the North doors by the church office. These doors are equipped with video monitors and electronically opened from the office.
- Each classroom has a multi use radio for internal communication throughout the school.
- Restrooms at the South rear door of the school are available for those using the athletic fields after hours. A new security gate separates this area from the rest of the building. NOTE Zion parents must limit after hours access to these doors only. Children must not be allowed to wander the rest of the building.
